A Custom Saddle

The Mesa saddle is one Ross truly looked forward to building.  “It was a custom order that the client gave me free rein to do what I wanted.  I tried to give the stamping a unique look that is reminiscent of traditional Sheridan style tooling with my own unique touch,” says Ross.  He really loves the process of building a custom saddle, drawing tooling patterns over and over until he gets it right then fitting all the pieces together.  The planning and preparation are what really make the design come together seamlessly.  The silver was also custom, designed to reflect the tooling pattern.  “Overall it was a gratifying process… creating a saddle that I could truly sell with confidence.”
