About the Instructor:
George Cubic has been working with leather since 1976, starting with tack repair during his time as a U.S. Air Force Airman. Over the decades, he studied traditional methods from cobblers, harness makers, and icons like Al Stohlman, developing mastery in stitching, stamping, and fabrication. Today, he runs Viktor George Leather Goods in Ajo, Arizona, where he creates rugged, repairable leatherwork while passing on his skills through classes, social media, and publications. His work has been featured in ShopTalk! Magazine (now Illume Connect Magazine), and he continues to inspire both new and seasoned makers.
