Add bold, decorative buckstitching to your leatherwork.
Buckstitching is more than a functional stitch—it’s a visual detail that instantly elevates a project. In this skill focused course, you’ll learn how to execute clean, consistent buckstitching using a repeatable process that delivers a western flair to any leather project.
Bootmaker Angie Shaw, Burns Boots, walks you step by step through the buckstitching process on a set of boot tops. Along the way, Angie will break down the pattern process, skiving, stitching, and finishing so you understand not just how to stitch, but how to prepare your leather for a clean final look. Once mastered, these techniques transfer easily to belts, wallets, saddles, and other leather projects.
