Along the way, Angie will break down the pattern process, skiving, stitching, and finishing so you understand not just how to stitch, but how to prepare your leather for a clean final look. Once mastered, these techniques transfer easily to belts, wallets, saddles, and other leather projects.

About the Instructor:
Angie Shaw is an experienced bootmaker and shop foreman at Burns Boots in Salina, Utah. Angie started working in the leather industry nearly 20 years ago and began learning the art of bootmaking in 2019 when she started an apprenticeship with Shane Deeter and the Burns Boot company.
