About the Instructor:
George Cubic has been working with leather since 1976, when he began repairing tack as a young Airman in the U.S. Air Force. Influenced by masters like Al Stohlman, George developed expertise in saddle stitching, stamping, and leather fabrication while learning from cobblers and harness makers. Today, he runs Viktor George Leather Goods in Ajo, Arizona, creating rugged, repairable goods and teaching traditional techniques to the next generation. His work has been featured in ShopTalk! (now Illume Connect Magazine) and he continues to inspire leathercrafters worldwide through classes and social media.
