If you've ever been curious about working with exotic leathers or want to take your leathercrafting skills to the next level, Getting started in Exotics Leathers, is a great introduction! This class dives into some of the most popular exotic leathers you’ll come across—like alligator, ostrich, and stingray—and gives you all the tools to identify them, understand their unique characteristics, and work with them confidently. You’ll also learn about the grading process, which is super important when selecting high-quality hides, and we’ve included a section on sustainability to help you make responsible choices when working with these materials.

This course will help you identify and select the right exotic leather to fit your project. It’s a great opportunity to broaden your knowledge and add some exciting new textures and materials to your toolkit!
